National Honor Society

National Honor Society membership is based on scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Candidates for this society may be sophomores, juniors, or seniors. Sophomore candidates must have earned a 3.5 grade point average for eligibility the fourth quarter of their sophomore year. Junior and senior candidates must have earned a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale and are eligible for membership each semester. Students are chosen by the faculty based on all four areas of scholarship, service, leadership and character. |
| Each year National Honor Society attends a leadership conference in Ames. This conference allows our students to interact with other student leaders. The Excellent motivational speakers also help us to be better leaders. |
